TV star Jasmine Harman was in Tenerife this week filming scenes for the new series of A Place In The Sun. The presenter shared a picture with fans on Instagram from the set of the show and pointed out a rather “strange” finding in the background.

In the social snap, Jasmine could be seen in a pretty red dress with black tights and boots as she spoke to her property hunter on camera.

A cameraman filmed the pair as they chatted in the evening light on a balcony overlooking the sea.

The mum-of-two shared the snap online in view of her 63,900 followers.

“Something very strange about this picture at today’s luxury property with the miracle worker @fabiennezielinsky,” she captioned the photo.

“Can you spot anything strange?” the presenter asked her followers.

Shortly after, a second picture was shared on her Story which revealed what she had noticed.

“Whose shadow is that behind me???

“Or is there an ogre following me? #PrincessFiona,” the caption amusingly read.

The evening light had cast a rather large shadow of the presenter on the wall behind her.

She likened it to the ogre, voiced by Cameron Diaz, in the animated movie Shrek.

Jasmine added a pair of cartoon green ears to the snap to illustrate her point.

The shadow of her co-star, who looked lovely in a pretty red dress and heels, could not be seen, making her shadow all the more amusing.

Earlier in the day, the Channel 4 star revealed that she was regretting her choice of outfit for filming.

As she filmed her final scenes for 2020, Jasmine gave fans an update on the picture-sharing site.

“Last piece to Camera before Christmas!” the presenter wrote online, “Regretting the tights now the sun has come out!” she added.

She later said they had had a week of bad weather on the Canary Island.

Returning to Instagram after her work was complete, she announced: “That’s a wrap!”

“The end of filming A Place in the Sun for 2020! And WOW what a year it’s been.”

She went on to thank the crew, who had continued to work amid the coronavirus pandemic as well as the viewers at home.

“Thank you and well done to all of our fantastic teams for keeping going and I can’t wait to work together again in 2021!”

The emotional star continued: “I’m feeling a bit nostalgic and emotional TBH [to be honest] as we still don’t know what the situation will be post Brexit transition period, coupled with coronavirus uncertainty, but we will do our very best to keep safely making shows and making dreams come true!

“Thanks to all of our viewers for your ongoing support – we love you!” she signed off.
