Adam Levine Reveals the Early 2000s Singer Whose Music He’s Introduced to His Daughters

Adam Levine is introducing his daughters to some early 2000s music!

During a new interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, the 41-year-old Maroon 5 frontman revealed that he’s started playing Avril Lavigne‘s music to his daughters Dusty, 4, and Gio, 3.

It’s funny how you go back and rewatch like these old videos, and listen to these old songs, and I’ve been playing her a lot of Avril Lavigne records,” Adam shared. “Like, dude, ‘I’m With You,’ that gives you tears.”

“It’s crazy, because you don’t remember it in the same way, because you took it for granted,” Adam continued. “Because it was when you were growing up, and it was just part of what you had on the radio. But there’s some really great songs that I didn’t understand how good they were back then.”

Also in the interview, Adam made some comments about bands these days, and people are not happy with what he said.

If you missed, Adam‘s wife Behati Prinsloo shared a super rare photo of their daughter Gio‘s face!
