Arshad Warsi on Golmaal 5: We’ll get a call from Rohit Shetty’s office for the narration [Exclusive]

Arshad Warsi, who’s famous for his impeccable comic timing and know to lighten the mood of any room with his mere presence, will next be seen alongside Bhumi Pednekar, Jisshu Sengupta and Mahie Gill in the horror movie, Durgamati, an official adaptation of the Telugu hit, Bhaagamathie, starring Anushka Shetty. Though exploring new horizons following his timely reminder to all and sundry about his reservoirs of versatility courtesy the web series, Asur, the brilliant actor, in all fairness, will forever be remembered the most for carving an irreplaceable niche in the hearts of moviegoers everywhere with the Golmaal and Munna Bhai franchises. On that note, Arshad graciously indulged us about the latest on both Golmaal 5 and Munna Bhai 3 in a recent exclusive interview.

Disclosing a positive about Golmaal 5, Arshad Warsi said, “Golmaal might happen. That depends on Rohit (Shetty). I think, one day, we’ll get a call from his office for the narration, you know, just saying, ‘Aa jao, narration hai,’ and that’s how we’ll know it’s happening. There are greater chances of Golmaal 5 happening than Munna Bhai 3. Woh chalta hai, woh hum logog ki chhicchori harqate hain logo ko pareshaan karne ke liye.”

Coming to Munna Bhai 3, the new wasn’t that rosy, with the actor revealing, “I promise you for Munna Bhai you can just go, stand on the road and shout, ‘Munna Bhai, kab aa raha hai,’ and you’ll get an answer (laughs). I don’t think Munna Bhai is going to happen, let me be honest. The chances of Golmaal 5 happening are more than the chances of Munna Bhai 3 happening.”
