Ciara Was Just Accepted to Harvard Business School, So Talk About Leveling Up

Ciara is about to level up again! On Monday, the singer announced that she’ll soon be a student at Harvard Business School. Ciara took to Instagram to share a photo of herself wearing a Harvard sweatshirt, and in the caption revealed that she was recently accepted to the university’s Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports program.

“I always dreamt of going to college, but by God’s grace, my music career took me on a path that I’m so thankful for,” she wrote. “This week I got accepted into Harvard! Words cannot describe my excitement!” She went on to thank Professor Anita Elberse, who teaches the “Businesses of Entertainment, Media, and Sports” MBA course at Harvard.

This isn’t the first we’ve heard of Ciara dipping her toes into the business side of the entertainment industry. She just launched her own record and entertainment company called Beauty Marks Entertainment back in February, so it’s pretty fitting for her to make business school her next move. According to a summary on the Harvard Business School website, the BEMS program is a four-day session in which accepted students will “debate and analyze the business and technology trends that are redefining the industry” and “learn how to launch and manage creative products and portfolios more strategically.”
