Davina McCall, 53, has undergone a dramatic transformation this weekend as ITV broadcasted the first episode of The Masked Dancer UK. The former Big Brother star looked sensational as she showcased her new hairdo.
Wow looks amazing! It so suits Davina’s personality
The presenter is known for her brunette bobbed hairstyle that she has maintained throughout her career.
Ahead of the series kicking off on ITV, Davina’s hairstylist Michael Douglas took to Instagram to share an array of snaps taken behind the scenes of the show.
Davina oozed sophistication as she flaunted her new hairstyle that is different from what she has had over the years.
The former Big Brother presenter looked every inch the superstar as she beamed from ear to ear for the candid snaps.
Wimbledon-born Davina oozed sophistication as she posed wearing a plunging red v-neck dress that certainly drew attention to her cleavage.
Davina’s outfit took centre stage with the design boasting ruffled shoulder pads, adding a touch of Hollywood glamour to her look.
The mum-of-three’s gym-honed figure stood out as the red dress wrapped perfectly around her slender waist before showcasing her toned legs.
However, Davina’s glossy locks looked worlds away from what fans are used to seeing on the Long Lost Family presenter.
Swapping her bob for a shoulder-length do, Davina’s brunette tresses were neatly decorated with a touch of Balayage.
Fans needn’t worry though as Michael clarified that it was a temporary look and that no peroxide was used while styling Davina’s hair.
Captioning his post, Michael wrote: “Tonight 7pm @maskedsingeruk @itv with @davinamccall amongst @joeldommett @otimabuse @mewossy @mothecomedian and a bunch of ‘dancers.’
“Hair was a temp Balayage with some help from @pakcosmetics 1 pack of double weft extensions and @philsmithbegorgeous root touch up.
The post which has attracted hundreds of likes and comments was instantly weighed down by fans complimenting Davina.
“Wow looks amazing! It so suits Davina’s personality love this woman she is so inspirational,” gushed one fan.
While a second penned: “Absolutely BRILLIANT job as always.”
“Davina is lookin’ red hot tonight! #Stunning! [sic]” exclaimed a third.
Viewers of The Masked Dancer UK were left stunned when it emerged that Diversity star Jordan Banjo was behind Viper.
Jordan, 28, was the first contestant to be unmanned following his performance on The Masked Singer spin-off.
He said: “The past 12 months everyone has just been in a place where it’s like, it just hasn’t been fun and something like The Masked Dancer is about coming on here, dressing up stupid and having a laugh and like let’s just have some fun man.”
Ahead of his performance, Banjo’s clues to his identity had included boxing references, with the dancing star later explaining his father was a boxer and his son is named Cassius, a nod to Muhammad Ali.
