Chicago police are set to release a trove of documents Thursday related to Jussie Smollett’s alleged hoax hate crime.
The data dump will include investigative files and reports, along with notes from detectives, a CBS Chicago reporter tweeted.
It’s unclear if all or just some of the 600-plus pages will be released.
Last week, a judge ordered the unsealing of Smollett’s criminal file, saying the “Empire” actor hadn’t “shown good cause to rebut the public presumption of access.”
Smollett was accused of staging a homophobic and racist attack in January — but the charges were dropped in a shock decision by prosecutors.
