Early KISS Logo Drawn By Ace Frehley Up For Auction

The original artwork of the KISS logo, hand drawn and designed by Ace Frehley in 1973, is up for auction.

Frehley unveiled the original logo artwork for the first time in 2011 and discussed its creation in his book, “No Regrets Book.”

Originally designed by Frehley, the logo was later refined by Paul Stanley.

One the most historically significant KISS items ever offered for sale, the original logo artwork has been put up for auction at a starting price of $50,000.

“This purchase does not come with ownership rights to the logo design and does not give you any right to make duplicate copies of the logo for resale. This is being sold strictly as a collectible for you to enjoy within your personal collection,” Gotta Have Rock and Roll said in the listing.

The artwork in super delicate paper measures 3.5 x 3.5., and comes with an Ace Frehley signed Certificate of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
