Emily Blunt, 38, is well known for a plethora of film roles and will soon be appearing in A Quiet Place Part II. However, the star has also opened up about how she’d be “worried” if she was going up against Meghan Markle for a film role.

Since Meghan has stepped down from her royal role, Emily was asked about what she thought about her getting back into acting.

During a recent interview, Emily was questioned about this and what she thought of the Duchess of Sussex.

She was asked: “Now that she’s stepped down from her royal duties, are you worried about encountering this woman in auditions?”

Emily then laughed as she was shown a picture of Meghan.

In response, the Devil Wears Prada actor said: “Who wouldn’t, right?

“She’s a knockout. We were just talking this morning about how beautiful she was and cool.

“Yeah, I’d be worried.”

The actor made the admission during a lie detector test for Vanity Fair magazine.

Just before this, she was also asked whether she was “at all interested in the happenings of the British Royal Family”?

In response, she said: “Yes. Not really interested, somewhat interested.”

Before marrying Prince Harry, Meghan was well known for her acting career.

She appeared on Century City, Fringe and CSI: NY as well as having roles in Remember Me and Horrible Bosses.

However, she is best known for playing Rachel Zane in the popular legal drama Suits.

She starred as one of the main characters from 2011 until late 2017 when she left.

Meghan has not spoken about a desire to return to acting since leaving her senior royal role.

However, she will be getting back involved in the showbiz world after signing a production deal with Netflix.

Emily, on the other hand, is the lead of the horror film A Quiet Place Part II, which will be released this week.

The film is a follow-up to the first outing in which she starred with her husband John Krasinski.

The sequel will pick up after the dramatic ending of the first film as the Abbott family try to face the terrors of the outside world.

Emily will be joined in the cast once again by Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds.

Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy also stars along with Djimon Hounsou.
