Gemma Collins claims she was kicked out of LA club after saying hello to Leonardo DiCaprio

It seems that there are some doors that being a UK celebrity can’t open, as former TOWIE star Gemma Collins claimed that she got her kicked out of a private members club in LA after saying a simple hello to legendary actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

Gemma, 41, said that the incident happened after she tried to introduce herself to the Titanic actor, 47, during a night out in Hollywood, reportedly at Soho House.

Gemma told The Sun: “Leonardo DiCaprio – I said hello to him and got thrown out of the club in LA.

“I mean, he looked at me and I looked at him back and all I said was hello.

“Next thing I know, I’ve been thrown out. I thought, ‘You do realise I am famous as well. Thank you very much!’”

The ex The Only Way is Essex personality said that she “could never go back there again…they could kiss my a**e”.

Leonardo DiCaprio hasn’t commented on the claims.

Gemma’s comments came after the successful launch of her one-woman show, The GC’s Big Night Out in Manchester on Tuesday night. The live tour will take her to Glasgow, Southampton, London, Birmingham and Cardiff, before culminating in Newcastle on April 14.

After the show, Gemma was mobbed by her adoring fans as she stepped out in her usual eye-catching style, wearing a lime green satin suit. Her blonde hair was coiffed into loose curls and she donned diamante sunglasses.

She clutched a Louis Vuitton bag and wore hot pink strappy heels on her feet as she greeted her fans with a huge smile and her usual bubbly personality.

When she headed out to Manchester’s Rosso Restaurant on Wednesday night, the star looked a little less glamorous in beige leggings and trainers. She wrapped up against the cold in a long cream duster coat.

The GC’s Big Night Out show isn’t Gemma’s only upcoming stage performance, as she is set to star as Mama Morton in the West End’s Chicago the Musical later on this year.

The star confirmed that she would be appearing on Chicago the Musical via Instagram last week, where she said she'd be taking on the role of Matron 'Mama' Morton on the UK tour, which kicks off on May 31, 2022.
