Gogglebox stars Mary and Marina have received their coronavirus jabs together.

The pair got their vaccines after they shielded for months in the same sheltered flats in Bristol.

The duo, who are in their 90s, were pictured receiving their first dose of the vaccine, as they wore masks, Bristol Live reports.

A vaccinator is seen administering Mary’s jab while Marina sits beside her.

Both women have not featured on the show since the pandemic started last year due to Covid-19 related concerns.

Fellow Gogglebox star Pete Sandiford told on the programme he would not be receiving the vaccine.

His sister Sophie said in November before the first vaccines were rolled out she was unsure about having a vaccine.

She said: "50 per cent of me is very excited, the other 50 is thinking, at some point, I’m gonna have to have [an] injection here."

But in response Pete insisted he wouldn't be having the vaccine at all.

He said: "I’m not having it, I don’t like injections."

More than three million vaccines have been administered to the over 80s and frontline key workers.

Mary, 90, and Marina, 88, missed out on the last series of show after producers thought it best not to put them at risk amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking to The Telegraph at the time, producer Tania Alexander said: "Unfortunately, it was not possible to film with the full cast.

"For example, we took the decision to tell Mary and Marina, who are in their 90s and live in a care home, that we didn't want them put at any risk, so we should stop filming with them altogether."
