Gwyneth Paltrow Gives Herself a Vibrator for Christmas

“Do something for others, but don’t forget about No. 1. Yes, that is a vibrator.”

Gwyneth Paltrow will certainly be having herself a merry little Christmas.

In the actress and Goop founder’s latest commercial for her wellness publication and e-commerce brand, she listens to some music, wraps presents, double-fists martinis and slips a vibrator into her stocking because — as the narrator explains — the holidays are about you, too.

Even though the advertisement is actually for the December collection of Goop’s limited-edition fashion line, G. Label, Paltrow’s cheeky little gift is what really caught our attention.

"The holidays are here, and because they never turn out the way you imagine, you must cherish the joy of getting ready," the sultry voice is heard saying at the top of the sexy minute-and-a-half campaign. "First, put on a record to set the mood. Do everything in slow motion. Make this feeling last. Someone’s double-fisting! And dammit, she’s earned it. The holidays are work, so don’t be afraid to ask for help with lighting, food, style and hair and hair and hair. You get the point."

Flashes of Gwyneth getting herself ready for a night out take over the screen. Throughout the ad, she models several different outfits from the new collection.

"Go ahead, have a laugh! Even if it is just for the camera. And find your favorite look — or 11 of them! Look fabulous in each one," the narrator continues. "And get super high — in your heels, of course. Do something for others, but don’t forget about No. 1. Yes, that is a vibrator."

Cue the scene in question.

"Gaze into your soul, but also stare into the abyss! That’s joyful, too," he concludes. "And finally, a graceful exist, and a night out on the town. Happy Holidays from G. Label."

On its YouTube channel, Goop described the video as follows: "Our December collection, the last of the year, is here. It’s a mix of elegant eveningwear, snuggly-soft sweaters, and sexy cocktail-ready pieces all wrapped up in a pretty, frilly bow."
