Inside Amir Khan's daughter's OTT first birthday party

Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom put on the most lavish first birthday party for the baby daughter, Alayna – and the whole thing looks absolutely incredible.

Oh to be the one-year-old child of the rich and famous…

The family took over the Macron Stadium in Bolton for the rainforest-themed party designed by Opulence Events London and Enchanted by Syma.

Boxer Amir, 32, splashed out a massive £75,000 to make sure his little girl had a party to remember (even though she probably won’t, let’s be honest… she’s ONE, but she will have the most amazing pics to look back on), and it appeared no expense was spared on the event.

As well as hiring a whole stadium for the party – which Amir and Faryal had previously hired for their engagement party – they bought the little one a four-tiered cake, also in a rainforest theme.

The couple, who also share five-year-old daughter Lamaisah, had long tables decked out with flowers and candelabras as well as decorative palm trees and even swinging monkeys and other jungle creatures dotted around the venue.

Little Alayna looked like an actual princess in her black taffeta gown… we’re just going to pretend we’re not hideously jealous that a one-year-old already has a better wardrobe than we do.

You can only imagine how amazing a party like this must have been for Alayna and her sister, getting to be the guests of honour in the jungle wonderland her parents had created.

Guests were treated to musical performances as well as dancers dressed as animals – they definitely went all-in on the theme!

Amir and Faryal aren’t the only celebs to go large for their child’s first birthday party – Cardi B has said she is spending around £315,000 on Kulture’s first birthday, and Kylie Jenner put on a Stormi Webster-themed version of Astroworld, Travis Scott’s tour imagery, for her little girl.

With a first birthday party this amazing, we can’t wait to see what Faryal and Amir do for their kids’ 18ths!
