Inside Coleen Nolan’s sprawling ‘animal-mad’ Cheshire home complete with cosy farmhouse decor

Lately, life has been incredibly sweet for Coleen Nolan as she exclusively introduced OK! to her new boyfriend, Michael Jones. The mum of three's new squeeze will undoubtedly be spending a lot of time at her cosy Cheshire farmhouse.

The Loose Women star moved into the property following her divorce from Ray Fensome in 2018, and she has certainly made it her own. Taking us on a guided tour of the abode, the 56 year old introduced us to her love for her pets, as well as showing off the lounge spaces she unwinds in following a long day of work.

Wearing a glamorous, flowing floral top and white jeans, Coleen looked radiant as she made her way into the sprawling kitchen.

"This is my kitchen… actually, it's the only corner of my kitchen that I can be bothered cleaning, so that's all you're going to see," she said.

Going past a huge marble kitchen island, Coleen was excited to highlight her cat and dog beds in front of the floor to ceiling windows.

"You'll find them all over the place," she said.

The star then made her way to the massive dining table in the corner, which looked out to the garden

"I like to sit here in the morning, with my morning coffee and just look out at the lovely scenery,"

Coleen, who has been dating Michael, 57, since they met on Tinder last June, reiterated that she hadn't been at the property long, but she "loved it".

Making her way to her fridge, Coleen couldn't help but point out more pet-related artwork and decorations.

"I'm animal mad guys, what can I say?" she humoured.

Coleen reluctantly showed the contents of her fridge – which to her surprise, wasn't as messy as she had thought.

"Me and my daughter have gone vegan, so this is the vegan shelf. This is everyone else's shelves," she explained.

Making her way to the lounge, Coleen pointed out that she had been questioned about positioning her huge L-shaped brown sofa right in front of her door.

"People are saying, "why do you have a couch covering the door?" Well, because I'm going to get rid of the door, we don't need it. I got the couch before I sorted the door out because that's just the kind of crazy chick I am."

Nonetheless, the brown sofa matched the farmhouse's light walls and prominent oak beams aesthetic.

Coleen also explained that she had yet to do much of the decorating for the lounge, but she loved the area's defining feature – the log burner.

"I love my fireplace, I've always wanted a log burner, fireplace, so we all sit and chill in here and watch telly."

She then made her way to another connecting room, stating: "I want to get some doors that close this room off.

"This is just the room where the boys chill out and play their games. This is a chill, watching football room."

Coleen made her way to another room, dubbing it her "snug room".

"This tends to be the animal room, hence why there's a wood floor. When the cat had the kittens, they all lived in her for twelve weeks and ruined my carpet, so we got wood floors."
