Comedian Jack Whitehall’s girlfriend Roxy Horner revealed the gender of their unborn baby, shortly after announcing that they were pregnant.
One month after Jack took to Instagram to share two gorgeous black and white snaps of the pair clutching their baby scans and beaming at each other, pregnant Roxy has confirmed that they will be parents to a baby girl.
The model shared her exciting news when she appeared on Steph’s Packed Lunch on Tuesday 27 June where she also revealed that she is six months pregnant, with only three months to go until they welcome their little bundle of joy into their family.
Glowing Roxy said on the show: “We are having a little girl. We have thought of some names but I feel like there are none that are really sticking out.”
The model also said she was “weirdly” not nervous and rather “just very excited”. She said: “I have always wanted a baby and a family so it’s always been on the cards”.
Jack on the other hand revealed yesterday on Heart Radio that he was “terrified” about becoming a dad. He told Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston: "My girlfriend is pregnant. "(I'm) terrified. Absolutely terrified.”
He continued: “But, very very excited as well. And yeah, I need to do some growing up! Very quickly!”
Jack also revealed that his parents Hilary and Michael were both “delighted” and had since been pressuring him to pop the question to Roxy.
He explained: “Within five to 10 minutes of me having told them, there was a lot of references from my father about how I was siring him with an illegitimate heir.”
The parents to be announced their exciting news via Instagram where Jack wrote: "And I thought I wasn’t getting enough attention when the dog arrived…"
Jack's followers rushed to offer their congratulations in the comments section, as one wrote: "Congratulations Jack! Can’t wait to see you in July," as another person said: "Congratulations knew u had it in you."
Roxy, who has beendating comedian Jack, 34, for three years , has shared glimpses of her pregnancy so far including revealing she is already experiencing sleepless nights.
Roxy shared an adorable clip of her dog Coco in bed with her as she joked the pup is her "first child", before then opening up about her pregnancy.
"Let me tell you the no sleep starts way before baby gets here. (not just if you have a dog that likes to jump on the bed)," the model began.
"Our baby is a little mover they kick non stop which is an amazing sign and the best feeling ever but it definitely keeps you up, also there gets to a point where baby is pressing on your bladder and so your up all night needing to pee lol – I think this is also made slightly worse being a diabetic mumma to be," she added.
