Jon Pardi’s ‘Heartache Medication’ Hits No. 1 On Country Airplay Chart

Country crooner Jon Pardi’s title-track from his sophomore album, Heartache Medication has climbed up Billboard‘s Country Airplay Chart to No. 1.

“It’s always amazing to get high up on the charts like that, especially the no. 1 spot,” Pardi said in a video sharing the news on Twitter.

He added, “I’d like to thank all the fans and everybody who helped get it there… Country Radio, big shout-out to you guys.”

Pardi also shared that he is currently working on a new album and that it is nearly read to drop.

In a recent interview with Fox News, the 34-year-old singer revealed that the task of being an artist is not as easy as people are likely to believe.

“I think sometimes artists forget how easy we have it and I don’t ever take that for granted,” he said. “You know, I always joke that we get to wait around all day and do a sound-check and then play two hours, but we really only work three hours then we get to drink on the job.”

But the reality is that he actually “woke up at 5:30 a.m. and drove an hour to go hop on a tractor and it’s been 10 hours sweating my a-s off…now do that six days a week,” he continued.
