Lala Kent and Randall Emmett postpone wedding amid coronavirus outbreak

Lala Kent and Randall Emmett will have to wait until July to say “I do.”

The “Vanderpump Rules” star, 30, and “The Irishman” producer, 48, have decided to postpone their April 18 until July amid the coronavirus outbreak, an insider told Page Six on Wednesday. Their nuptials will take place at the same Newport Beach, Calif., venue.

Their co-star and friend, Jax Taylor, said in an Instagram Live video that the couple still plans to tie the knot at the courthouse and he will be accompanying them.

“We have decided to move the date of our wedding to July given the unfortunate circumstances of what is going on,” Kent and Emmett said in a statement via their representative. “We are obviously saddened by this but for the ultimate safety of our families and guests, we have made the decision to wait and see how everything progresses. Safety will always be our number one priority.”

Their decision comes days after Kent joked about getting coronavirus for publicity ahead of their wedding. She has since gone into quarantine as Emmett was forced to stop production on his new movie in Puerto Rico. He is currently at home with his children London and Rylee.

Taylor also revealed that Stassi Schroeder has not canceled her wedding in Rome this October yet.

Italy has the second-most cases of coronavirus in the world — a whopping 27,980 — and Schroeder’s fiancée, Beau Clark, has family living in the country.
