Former footballer Lee Sharpe has married Lucie Gardner in Italy, some 14 years after his appearance in the first ever Love Island series.
The 47-year-old played 193 times for Manchester United , winning the Premier League and FA Cup along the way – and now he's enjoyed an ultimate goal in life by marrying the mother of his son.
Lee tied the knot with Lucie in an intimate ceremony on Italy's Amalfi coast, eight years after he started dating her.
The pair met in 2011, with Lee proposing to Lucie at Cheltenham Festival on Ladies' Day in 2017.
On their big day, Lee was looking the business in a grey three-piece suit, along with a black bow tie.
Looking full of smiles, Lucie wore an incredible halterneck white wedding dress. It had a plunging neckline and diamante waist and the pair were the look of love.
White roses were a feature of the day, with Lucie having them in a bouquet as Lee wore one in his buttonhole.
The pair have a two-year-old son Leo and the wedding day comes 14 years after Lee was looking for a partner in the first ever Love Island, back in 2005.
He had retired from football two years previously, after a career that saw he go from Torquay United to Manchester United before taking in Leeds United and Sampdoria in Italy.
Lee went on to join the reality TV circuit, with turns on Dancing on Ice, Celebrity Wrestling and Celebrity Love Island.
In 2005, it was the first series of Love Island with Patrick Kielty and Kelly Brook presenting form the sunshine villa as a number of celebrities looked to find love.
The series was won by Jayne Middlemiss and Fran Cosgrave with Lee returning home after failing in his desire to find a partner.
