Lori Loughlin’s Husband Mossimo Giannulli Gets Early Release from Prison

Mossimo Giannulli has been released from federal prison after serving four months of his five-month sentence for his role in the college admissions scandal.

The 57-year-old fashion designer is the husband of Full House actress Lori Loughlin, who also served prison time.

Mossimo was moved from the prison to the Long Beach Residential Reentry Management halfway house. A source told Us Weekly, “He was released three weeks earlier than planned. It’s Lori’s Easter surprise.”

The couple submitted guilty pleas in May 2020 after previously saying they were innocent. They were charged for paying $500,000 in bribes to ensure that their daughters were admitted to the University of Southern California.

Mossimo‘s son Gianni says that his father was forced into solitary confinement at the beginning of his sentence and it was having a toll on his mental health. The solitary period was reportedly due to COVID-19 precautions and he was eventually moved to a minimum-security camp.

Lori was spotted last month for the first time since being released from prison.
