Love Island star Amber Gill’s reality TV past exposed as it’s revealed she starred on ITV2 show last year

Dancing With The Stars professional dancer Curtis Pritchard isn’t the only Love Island contestant with a history in TV.

It has been revealed that Amber Gill has also previously appeared on a reality show — starring on ITV2 last year.

The 21 year old beauty therapist will be entering the villa on 3 June alongside Curtis, Tommy Fury and Lucie Donlan.

During an Instagram question and answer session, Amber’s friend has now spilled all on her TV past.

When asked if Love Island will be Amber’s first time on TV, her pal revealed that she featured on an ITV2 show last year.

He wrote: “She actually appeared on an ITV2 show called Spa Wards with her auntie Judy in her salon last year.

“I’m gonna have to dig it out coz it’s so funny and Amber’s really cute in it [sic].”

Amber’s friend’s revelation comes after a source close to her was forced to deny she was not “racist” after a historical social media post re-emerged.

In the now-deleted post, Amber is seen dancing in a nightclub, with a black man loitering beside her.

Showing two fingers to the camera, she wrote over the image: “‘I see you staring at me all night’ First of all I don’t like black guys X.”

A representative told Metro.co.uk: “We deleted the post as it was being taken out of context in regards to what actually happened.

“The guy was pestering Amber all evening, and she said he was old enough to be her Dad, so was referring to ‘I don’t date black guys’ because he reminded her of her own father.

“The next part of the story stated this, but as the whole thing was being taken out of context we simply deleted. Obviously, she’s not racist — her own father is from Trinidad/Tobego.

“She just didn’t want to date someone that looked the double of her Dad [sic].”
