Love Island star Scott takes savage swipe at co-stars after villa exit with Abi

Love Island star Scott van der Sluis has taken a swipe at his co-stars after being dumped from the villa.

Before his exit, Scott, 22, faced accusations from the boys that he was a game player and came to blows with Mitch Taylor during The Grafties, which resulted in him calling his co-star a "f*****g k**bhead".

As he returned to Twitter following his villa exit, Scott thanked his fans, but also took aim at the boys.

He wrote: "What a ride, what a journey. It’s been a summer I’ll never forget. Thank you for all your support."

He then added: "Ooof how nice is it to have your phone back, also really nice to not be called a game player 74 times a day."

It comes after he said that he didn't hold any grudges during his exit interview from the villa.

Scott was given the boot alongside Abi Moores during Wednesday night's of the ITV2 show.

As he left, he was asked who he was closest with in the vill, to which he replied: "All the boys – the boys are all a really close group. I got on with Lochan really well. I had some deep chats with Zach but the boys as a whole, they’ve all got different personalities. We’re all a really close group. We say what we need to say to each other and then as soon as it’s said, it’s done and we don’t hold any grudges."

Before him and Abi were dumped, she received a text telling the Islanders to gather around the firepit immediately. Abi and Scott found themselves in the bottom two alongside Mitch and bombshell Ella Barnes, and Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble.

After a tense discussion, Lochan Nowacki stood up and confirmed Scott and Abi, who had decided they were just friends, were being dumped.

But as Abi left, she was quick to offer a subtle jibe at her former love interest, Mitch. Sharing an awkward embrace, she sarcastically quipped: "See you… maybe… soon."

The former couple experienced a tumultuous relationship following the arrival of model Ella B. After initially causing a headache for OG Ella Thomas after revelations about past interactions with her partner Tyrique Hyde, she ultimately sent Abi into a spin after choosing to couple up with Mitch, despite Abi making her feelings and commitment to him known.

Mitch told his co-stars Abi had given him the "ick", before sticking with Ella B. He has since left fans floored though after branding his partner Ella B 'fake' to the other boys, just moments after Abi left the villa. Despite this, he then went on to ask her to be exclusive with him on their romantic final date.
