Lucy Fallon has announced she has given birth.
The former Coronation Street star, who played Bethany Platt on the ITV soap, has welcomed her first child – a baby boy – with boyfriend Ryan Ledson.
Lucy, 27, announced the exciting news to OK! and shared a sweet first photo of her newborn baby, who arrived on 30th January.
She wrote: "Our beautiful boy. 30/01/2023", along with a white love heart emoji.
In the picture, the new mum is glowing as she cradles her baby boy in her arms, as she and Ryan sit on a sofa, beaming at the camera.
Lucy looks beautiful in a white T-shirt teamed with a leopard print midi skirt, while she cuddles her bundle of joy.
Footballer Ryan smiles as he sits next to Lucy, wearing a relaxed black T-shirt and shorts.
Before her announcement, Lucy's fans had been speculating that she had given birth, after she had been silent on social media for a while.
Last week she posted a photo of a bouquet of beautiful blue and white flowers, accompanied by Bon Iver's popular song Wash – leaving many of her fans believing she'd welcomed her baby.
The week prior, Lucy told her followers that she was manifesting her son's birth after experiencing pins and needles in her ribs.
She wrote on a video posted on her Instagram Story: "Due in less than a week. I've had a LOT of messages – but no he is not here yet.
"Pls can we all manifest that he comes soon cos ur girl has pins and needles in her ribs."
Her other posts and stories seemed to show Lucy with longer hair, despite her recently revealing she went for the chop and got a "mum cut".
This prompted many to guess she was showing old content because she was in labour.
Lucy exclusively announced her pregnancy to OK! back in September, after keeping her pregnancy a secret for five months.
The TV star and her footballer boyfriend Ryan, 24, started dating in the spring of 2021.
The pair met through friends four years earlier, but once they decided to take the plunge and embark on a relationship, it was only a few months later that she moved in with him.
Just over a year later in September 2022, they announced they were expecting their first child together.
The mum to be revealed her baby's gender in a sweet video, which she shared exclusively with OK!, where the actress is seen popping a big balloon with the words, ‘Blue or pink? What do you think?’ written on it.
“I can now exclusively reveal with OK! magazine that we are having a boy!” Lucy said as sparkly blue decorations burst out of the balloon.
Her happy news came after she previously suffered a devastating miscarriage, with her bravely opening up about the traumatic time.
