Maisie Smith fans concerned over cryptic ‘you don’t deserve me’ crying video

Maisie Smith and Max George sent Strictly Come Dancing fans into a frenzy last year when the showbiz pals – who both appeared alongside each other in 2020's competition – announced in September they'd struck up a romantic relationship.

And though recent weeks have seemingly seen the pair's connection go from strength-to-strength, a cryptic video posted by 21-year-old Maisie last night has left some concerned that they may have called it a day.

The EastEnders favourite posted a clip compiling several different shots of her crying to her personal TikTok account captioned: "Nothing but happiness these days."

Several other clips show the ginger bombshell woefully wiping her tears, and cradling her dog for comfort.

On top of the video, soapstar Maisie Smith wrote, "You didn't deserve me", followed by "at all".

And fans have since speculated that she and The Wanted singer, 34, had split, with several commenting on Maisie's ambiguous post.

One questioned, "Is she still with max", whilst another added: "Maisie girl you got me mad then lol I thought I had to go hunt max down then."

A third commented, "They've broken up?"

"If this is true!! he didn't deserve you only happiness laughs smiles wild ways and adventures are what you deserve," added another.

Earlier this week, Max attended the Pride of Britain Awards alone, whilst girlfriend Maisie opted to skip the annual event.

Maisie was not in attendance at the awards because she was on tour with Strictly Ballroom and had an evening show, her reps confirmed to OK!.

Despite Maisie's no-show, Max made sure Maisie still knew he was thinking of her as he posted a makeup free snap of her to his Instagram stories and wrote "wow".

Maisie and Max competed on the eighteenth series of dance competition Strictly in 2020, where Maisie competed with professional dancer Gorka Marquex and and Max performed alongside Dianne Buswell.

It wasn't until the Strictly live tour the following year that the pair grew close.

Prior to her romance with the ex-boyband singer, Maisie was romantically linked with the likes of her EastEnders co-star Zack Morris – who's house she was spotted staying at September 2021.

The actress was also linked to pop singer HYVY, whom she and Max competed with in the 2020 series of Strictly.

Max was previously in a relationship with Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan. They'd made their relationship official in December 2010 and became engaged in 2011, but ended their relationship the following year.

The singer was previously dating Stacey Giggs, the ex-wife of footballer Ryan Giggs, however they broke up not long before he started his relationship with Maisie.

OK! has reached out to representatives for a comment on Maisie and Max's relationship status.
