Marnie Simpson and Casey Johnson have revealed they’re having a baby boy.
The couple, who announced they were expecting their first child together exclusively with OK! magazine, hosted a lavish gender reveal party where they unveiled the happy news with their closest friends and family.
“I was genuinely so shocked,” revealed Marnie.
“I just screamed and said: “Oh my God, it’s a boy! I didn’t think I would produce a boy.
“When I first found out I was pregnant I told my mum and Casey’s auntie and cousin that I wanted a boy, but after that I was so scared to say it out loud because I never get any luck.
“Everyone I spoke to said they thought we were having a girl so I convinced myself I wanted a girl. Deep down I wanted a boy all along. It’s made me so excited for the birth.”
Casey added that he is “over the moon” after always wanting a little boy.
"I wanted a boy first and a girl next,” he said. “It’s brought us even closer together. We want two or three children altogether.”
The party – which we filmed exclusively – was attended by several famous faces, including Lauren Goodger, Sophie Kasaei, Chloe Ferry and Holly Hagan, who couldn’t contain their excitement at the announcement.
“I am so happy for them,” revealed Marnie’s cousin Sophie. “It still hasn’t hit us!”
While Lauren admitted she knew it was going to be a boy: “I can just tell by looking at them. I look at people's bodies and I know. I’m just so happy for them.”
Marnie looked stunning at the party as she showed off her blossoming baby bump in a form-fitting white dress and matching heels, while Casey looked his usual dapper self in a pair of black trousers and braces over a white shirt.
The couple spoke openly about their fears after finding out Marnie was pregnant in their exclusive chat with OK! last month, with Marnie admitting she was nervous about the birth.
“I can’t even talk about it,” she said. “I’m really nervous, but I’ll make sure I’ve got some lip gloss and eyeliner. I don’t want to be a mess.”
Her boyfriend Casey gushed: "I don’t think you’re ever ready until it happens, but we’re so excited. It feels amazing."
