Michelle Keegan has revealed her family no longer bother asking her when she and Mark Wright will have a child together.

The 33 year old, who recently praised her other half as he announced an exciting new career move, explained that her family already know what she would say if they asked her about the topic.

Speaking to MailOnline, the Our Girl star explained that she's "used" to people asking her about her future plans with her other half, but insisted it's "no one else's business."

The brunette beauty said: "Nobody else knows what goes on behind closed doors. I think that’s the reason that question affects me so much – it’s very private!

"Mark is asked about it occasionally but I’m asked every single time."

When asked whether her family dares to ask about the possibility of expanding their brood, she replied: "Not any more!"

Michelle, who recently denied rumours of "marriage problems" with her former TOWIE star husband, added: "People don’t mean any harm by it, but they know what the answer’s going to be."

Last December, the actress complained after realising she constantly gets asked when she'll have children while 34 year old Mark isn't.

Explaining that there is a double standard at play when it comes to men and women in the public eye, she told Women's Health: "I do think it's different for a woman. It shouldn't be, but it is.

"I get asked about children whereas Mark wouldn't, for example."

The Brassic star, who has been married to the TV personality since 2015, went on to explain she has no idea what answer would make the public happy.

She said: "Why haven't I had a child? When am I going to have a child? I don't know what they want me to say. I don't know what the right or wrong answer is."

Former Coronation Street actress Michelle continued by addressing why she refrains from posting too many loved-up snaps or videos with her other half across her social media channels.

"A lot of things in my life are out of my control, but one thing I do have control over is my social media and I like to try and keep some memories private," she explained.
