Prince Harry ‘constantly doting’ on pregnant wife Meghan Markle as she prepares to give birth

Prince Harry is "constantly doting" on his wife Meghan Markle as her second pregnancy draws to a close, according to reports.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, aged 36 and 39 respectively, are expecting their second child, announcing during their interview with Oprah Winfrey that they will welcome a baby girl.

It has now been claimed that Harry is being "such a supportive partner" to his wife in the final weeks of her pregnancy, with her due to give birth this summer.

A source told Us Weekly: "Harry is helping out around the house.

"He's always such a supportive partner, but when Meghan is pregnant, Harry takes on the brunt of physical responsibilities, cooking for her and making her comfortable."

The insider added that Megan's mother Doria Ragland "hasn't been around too much," in recent months.

Harry quickly flew back to the US to reunite with his wife and their one year old son Archie earlier this week, just four days after his grandfather Prince Philip's funeral.


A source told the publication whilst he was in the UK: "He's really missing Meghan and Archie and has been FaceTiming them every day to check in.

"He actually speaks to Meghan a few times a day because he worries [about] leaving her when she's so far along in her pregnancy."

Meghan was unable to fly to the UK to attend the service — which took place at her and Harry's wedding venue, St George's Chapel — last Saturday.

However, it is believed that Meghan reached out the The Queen to speak with her as she grieved for her husband.

An insider told People magazine: "Meghan and Harry have been in touch every day. She knows the trip to England has been difficult for Harry.

"He didn't want to leave Meghan and Archie alone. Meghan has insisted to him every day though that they are fine. She hasn't wanted him to worry.

"Meghan spoke with Harry before his grandfather's funeral. Meghan and Archie also spoke with the Queen earlier this week."

It is also said that Harry met with The Queen "at least twice" following Philip's highly emotional funeral.

The co-author of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's biography Finding Freedom, Omid Scobie, wrote for Bazaar.com: "The love and respect he has for his grandmother will always be unwavering."
