Prince Harry Shared His Thoughts on 'The Crown'

Friday is here and so is … PRINCE HARRY'S FIRST U.S. INTERVIEW.

The Duke of Sussex appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden, but instead of driving around and singing "God Save the Queen," the Brits boarded a double-decker bus in L.A.

In 17 minutes, we received more first-hand information about Prince Harry than we have maybe … ever? Though Harry admitted that he and Meghan Markle are more of a Jeopardy! Family, the royal heir watches "a little bit of Netflix" and is aware of The Crown (which, you know, dramatizes his family history). His take?

"They don't pretend to be news, it's fictional. But it's loosely based on the truth," Harry told Corden. "Of course it's not strictly accurate, but loosely. It gives you a rough idea about what the lifestyle, what the pressures of putting duty and service above family and everything else, what can come from that."

He even has an idea of the actor that should play him: Damien Lewis — or, as Harry first flubbed: Daniel Lewis.

"I'm way more comfortable with The Crown than I am seeing the stories written about my family, or my wife, or myself," he continued. "Because it's the difference between, [The Crown] is obviously fiction, take it how you will, but [the tabloid stories] are being reported on as fact, because you're supposedly news. I have a real issue with that."
