Prince William Shares Unseen Photo of Prince George and Prince Philip in Sweet Tribute to His Grandfather

Prince William has posted a tribute to his late grandfather Prince Philip, who passed away on Friday at the age of 99. William shared his thoughts on Instagram, along with a sweet photo of Philip riding in a carriage with William’s oldest son Prince George.

He continued, “My grandfather was an extraordinary man and part of an extraordinary generation. Catherine and I will continue to do what he would have wanted and will support The Queen in the years ahead. I will miss my Grandpa, but I know he would want us to get on with the job.”

Prince Philip’s funeral will take place this weekend at Windsor Castle, and will be limited to just 30 guests—likely including the Queen, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Prince Edward, Sophie Wessex, Prince Andrew, Princess Anne, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry—who flew home to the United Kingdom from California on Sunday. Harry is said to be quarantining ahead of Philip’s funeral due to coronavirus restrictions, and it’s unclear if he’s seen his family yet.
