Princess Beatrice’s husband Edoardo praises his ‘amazing’ wife as they release baby name

Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have announced the name of their daughter, baby Sienna Elizabeth two weeks after she was born.

Businessman Edoardo took to Instagram with a gushing post as he praised his "amazing" wife and beautiful little girl.

"Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi," the royal began. "Our life together has just begun, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things that await us.

"Feeling so much love and gratitude for my amazing wife, baby Sienna and Wolfie," 38 year old Edoardo continued, as he revealed just how overwhelmed he's felt to become a father.

"These are the days I never want to forget," he went on, also posting a snap of his little one's footprints. "This week, a friend said to me the sweetest saying….that with every child you grow a whole new heart."

The father-of-two also shared his gratitude and thanks to the "amazing" team and 33 year old Beatrice's midwife at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Posting her own announcement on Twitter, Princess Beatrice tweeted: "We are delighted to share that we have named our daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi.

"We are all doing well and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna."


While the royal doesn't have an Instagram page, her younger sister Princess Eugenie, 31, posted a heartfelt tribute to the family after they welcomed their gorgeous arrival last month.

Sharing an adorable snap of the royal couple enjoying an adventure in nature, the philanthropist wrote: "To my dearest Beabea and Edo⁣.

"Congratulations on your new angel. I can't wait to meet her and I'm so proud of you.

"We're going to have so much fun watching our children grow up. Love Euge ," the royal continued at the time.

She then shared a sweet letter directly to her new niece, as she told the newborn tot she "loves her already".

"I love you already and think you're just awesome from the photos.. we're going to have so much fun ⁣together.
Love your Auntie Euge," Eugenie added.

The latest royal baby was born on September 18 weighing six lbs and two ounces, and the Queen and the rest of the royal family were also said to be "delighted" with the news.
