Just a few minutes back, the makers of Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy’s Made In China released the motion poster of the film, which raised our excitement for the trailer. They also revealed the release date of the film and it is coming on the festive weekend of Diwali. While it might have cheered up all Rajkummar Rao fans, it might give a tough time to makers at the box office as the film is clashing with not one but two films, which are Housefull 4 and Saand Ki Aankh.
Talking about Housefull 4, it stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda in key roles. Housefull 4 is also expected to release in 3D format. The film has been shot in Mumbai, London and Rajasthan and is reportedly based on the concept of reincarnation. It is directed by Farhad Samji and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala and Grandson.
On the other hand, Taapsee and Bhumi’s Saand Ki Aankh is based on two octogenarian sharpshooters Chandro, 87, and Prakashi, 82, who are from Uttar Pradesh’s Johri village and reportedly took up sharpshooting in their 50s. Chandro, who is fondly called shooter ‘dadi’ is among the world’s oldest female sharpshooters. It marks the directorial debut of Tushar Hiranandani. Saand Ki Aankh is produced under the banners of Reliance Entertainment along with Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar of Chalk n Cheese Films.
Well, we think that the makers of Made in China should shift their release date as because of other two films, it might failed to desired screens at the ticket windows. What are your thoughts? Tweet to us @bollywood_life.
