Rylan Clark-Neal’s glamorous home with sleek kitchen revealed ahead of Celebrity Gogglebox

Rylan Clark-Neal, 30, opened up his Essex home to a television crew this month to film scenes for his appearance on Celebrity Googlebox for Stand Up To Cancer.

The television presenter, who shot to fame when he appeared on The X Factor in 2012, will be joined on the popular Channel 4 show by this mother Linda.

Ahead of the first episode, which airs tonight at 9pm, the This Morning star has given fans a sneak peek inside the glamorous five-bedroom abode he shares with husband Dan Neal, 39.

The swanky pad features a show-stopping open-plan kitchen and living room which will of course feature on the show.

Rylan described his high spec kitchen, which was designed and made by Wren Kitchens, as the “social hub” of his new home.

It features concrete grey cupboards and a contemporary quartz island and comes complete with voice-controlled kitchen lights, four ovens and a champagne fridge.

The Big Brother star said: “It’s really tough to say what my favourite part of the kitchen is, but I love my drinks fridge. Growing up I used to love watching Absolutely Fabulous and always wanted a Champagne fridge.”

Talking about the style he picked for his kitchen, he added: “I went for the Milano Elements range because I really wanted a concrete look to the kitchen. My house is quite industrial, there is a lot of stainless steel and concrete looking floors, and the Milano Elements for me was exactly what I wanted.”

The former Celebrity Masterchef finalist said his family have high expectations whenever they visit and urge him to cook fancy meals for them.

He explained: “I did do Celebrity MasterChef a few years ago and I was the runner up – some people call me the people’s champ. But everyone always bullies me in my family. Whenever they come over, they say well you’ve got to cook MasterChef, and they take the mickey out of me a bit.”

Rylan and his mum will star in the six-part Gogglebox special with Little Mix, Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Oti Mabuse and her sisters as well as Radio presenter Nick Grimshaw and his niece.
