Noel Fitzpatrick, 53, has addressed leaving Prince Harry, 36, and Meghan Markle’s, 39, wedding festivities at Windsor Castle early. The Supervet star shared how he suffered from “imposter syndrome” while at the grand nuptials and didn’t know anybody out of the A-list guest list, which included George Clooney, David Beckham and Serena Williams.

I decided to leave

Opening up on the surreal surroundings of the wedding, the TV personality shared: “There were canapés, it was a magnificent occasion and also incredibly humbling.

“I was thinking, ‘What is a farmer’s son doing here? What am I doing here?’ I was feeling imposter syndrome.

“I felt truly honoured, but anyway, I decided to leave,” he added to The Daily Mail last year.

Noel also experienced pain after standing around for hours in uncomfortable footwear and could no longer bear the excruciating agony as he decided to exit the celebrations.

He continued: “I thought, I don’t actually know anybody. I’m really lucky to have seen this magical thing and I am very happy for Harry and Meghan, because they are wonderful people, but my shoes are killing me.

“I also thought this is all a bit overwhelming. So I asked a lady if she could show me the door out of the castle.”

Once he was back on the streets of Windsor, he suddenly realised he did not know exactly where he was staying and spent “two hours” wandering the streets in just his socks.

Eventually, he managed to find his way back to his lodgings and began to soak his “sore feet” in salt water in a bidet.

The former Suits star became pals with the Irish born vet after her pet beagle was injured just days after the Royal Family announced her engagement to the British Prince.

The dog was so badly injured that they called in the help of Noel, who rose to fame on the Channel 4 TV show The Supervet. He is known for his bionic surgery techniques

The beagle has been described as Markle’s “absolute world” and was flown over from Toronto to the United Kingdom early in 2017.

Unfortunately before departing to the UK, the actress had to say goodbye to her other dog, a Labrador-shepherd cross, called Bogart, who was deemed too old to fly.

Meghan revealed: “One [dog] is now staying with very close friends and my other, little Guy, he’s in the UK, he’s been here for a while.

“I think he’s doing just fine.”

According to the same publication, she was “distraught” and “very upset” following the dog’s accident.

Prince Harry was spotted accompanying Meghan to visit her dog at Noel’s clinic, who managed to patch him right up.

It comes as the royal couple have just announced the birth of their second child Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

Lilibet is believed to be the name coined by the Queen when she was too young to pronounce Elizabeth.

The 7lbs 11oz baby, whose late grandmother Diana’s 60th birthday would have been next month, was born on Friday evening UK time.

The couple, who are already parents to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, typed: “On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe.”
