Changes in operation of trains on May 28

Southern Railway on Thursday announced changes in the operations of trains passing through Salem Division due to engineering work in Erode – Karur – Tiruchirappalli section.

Partial cancellation

According to a press release, five trains will be partially cancelled on May 28. Train No. 56320 Coimbatore – Nagercoil Passenger and Train No. 56319 Nagercoil – Coimbatore are partially cancelled between Dindigul and Erode and the services will start from Erode as per scheduled timings.

Train No. 56712 Palakkad Town – Tiruchirappalli Junction Passenger is partially cancelled between Erode and Tiruchirappalli.

Train No. 56825 Erode – Tirunelveli Passenger is partially cancelled between Erode and Karur and will start from Karur as per scheduled timings.

Train No. 56841 Tiruchirappalli – Erode Passenger is partially cancelled between Karur and Erode.

Cancelled

Three trains, Train No. 56110 Erode to Tiruchirappalli Passenger, Train No. 76836 Karur to Tiruchirappalli Passenger, and Train No. 76833 Tiruchirappalli to Karur Passenger, will remain fully cancelled on May 28. On the same day, four trains will be regulated at various locations, the release said.

Train No. 16340 Nagercoil – Mumbai Central will be regulated for 15 minutes at Karur Junction. Train No. 56826 Tirunelveli – Erode Passenger will be regulated for 50 minutes at Karur Junction.

Train No. 56846 Erode – Jolarpettai Passenger will be delayed by 30 minutes at the Erode Junction and Train No. 56713 Tiruchchirappalli – Palakkad Town Passenger will be regulated for 80 minutes between Tiruchi Fort and Karur Junction, the press release added.
