Complaint against Vijay Sethupathi

Vijay Sethupathi is one of the most popular actor of Tamil film Industry,  who is fondly addressed as the Makkal Selvan by his fans.  Now according to the latest update, a complaint has been lodged against Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi by the All India Hindu Sabha headquartered in Trichy.

According to the petition, in an episode of “Namma Ooru Hero” telecast on Sun TV on 17th March 2019, Vijay Sethupathi  who had appeared as a chief guest, had made a statement that in Hindu temples the priests show people the statues being bathed but when it is being dressed up they close it to the devotees. Vijay Sethupathi’ speech hurt the sentiments of the Hindus. The actor had mentioned that a small girl asked her grandfather why they don’t allow her to see the gods being dressed up when the people are showing them bathing.

Quoting the same words, a complaint has been lodged against Kollywood actor Vijay Sethupathi by the All India Hindu Sabha members at Trichy police station. Further details of Vijay Sethupathi’ case are yet to be out.

 On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing the villain in Tamil movie Master which has Vijay in the lead role.
