After months of the shutdown, movie theatres in 10 states and four Union territories opened their doors to moviegoers on Thursday.
While theatres and multiplexes will remain closed in the big movie-producing centres of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, they will open in Delhi and parts of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, with stringent dos and don’ts in keeping with the new COVID-19 normal.
The government issued guidelines suggests that a trip to the cinema won’t be the joyous romp it used to be any more.
