Akhil Akkineni, the young son of King Nagarjuna made his debut as the lead actor with Akhil: The Power of Jua, which was released in 2015, and on its opening day the movie received negative response by the movie lovers and the critics from each corner and finally turned out a disaster at the box office.
It was helmed by VV Vinayak and produced by Mithiin. Recently during the media interaction, Akhil movie script writer Veligonda Srinivas revealed that he had first penned the story of fantasy drama Akhil keeping Ram Charan in mind.
Veligonda Srinivas added that as Ram Charan was a big star at that time, this project went to Akhil and he made changes in the story of Akhil according to the actor’ image. They highlighted Akhil’s character more that was the main reason, the movie disappointed the movie lovers. Veligonda Srinivas further added that the result of the movie Akhil would have been totally different if it had Ram Charan as the lead actor.
On the work front Ram Charan who is working with Rajamouli in RRR, has also given a nod to Shankar for a film and Akhil will be seen playing the lead role in Most Eligible bachelor.
