Karan Johar grabs Hridayam

Karan Johar is a popular producer and distributor of Hindi film Industry. Now according to the latest update, Karan Johar has grabbed the remake rights of Malayalam movie Hridayam.

Bollywood renowned production house Dharma Productions, owned by Karan Johar, and Fox Star Studios have acquired the official rights of Malayalam movie Hridayam to remake the film in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.  The official announcement regarding this was made today morning.

Karan Johar took to his Twitter and wrote: I am so delighted and honored to share this news with you. Dharma Productions & Fox Star Studios have acquired the rights to a beautiful, coming-of-age love story, Hridayam in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu – all the way from the south, the world of Malayalam cinema.

The Malayalam movie will be remade in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Both Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios have acquired the rights of Malayalam drama Hridayam.

Karan Johar is making his comeback in direction after a long gap of 5 years. He is all set to helm Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,  which has Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.

On the otherside, Karan Johar is also presenting the Hindi version of Liger which has Vijay Deverakonda and  Ananya Panday in the lead roles.
