Uttam To Bid Goodbye To PCC Role

Telangana PCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy is likely to step down from his role and has reportedly informed the Congress High Command about his decision. On Wednesday Uttam made interesting comments and also added that he wants to be active in national politics. But insiders say that Uttam is disappointed with MPTC and ZPTC results.

‘As we succeeded in Lok Sabha polls, the TRS government showed its influence in local body polls. That’s why candidates on behalf of Congress lost,’ said Uttam Kumar Reddy. For about four years and three months, Uttam is in PCC position and the Congress High Command is likely to take a decision after the Rahul’s crisis ends.

With Uttam clearing the way, Komatireddy brothers are eyeing the post. Current working president Revanth Reddy, Manthani MLA Sridhar Babu and Sangareddy MLA Jagga Reddy are also heard to be in race for PCC chief. But Komatireddy brothers being the senior most in the party, one of the two might get a chance.
