LEAKED! Rakul Preet Singh look from director Krish Jagarlamudi’s untitled film surfaces online

Amid reports of the NCB calling Rakul Preet Singh for questioning in the drug angle into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the actress’ new avatar from director Krish Jagarlamudi’s upcoming Telugu film has leaked online. The actress has recently has resumed shooting for the yet-to-be titled film. The shooting has been going on in full swing in Vikarabad forest. And while her fans are currently having a tough time looking at her name being dragged into the drug case, Rakul’s new look from her upcoming movie may bring some respite to them.

In the pictures, Rakul can be seen dressed in a colorful sari with her hair plaited at the back. Her skin tone looks a bit tanned (perhaps to make her look like a village girl) and can be seen flashing her million dollar smile with a bindi on her forehead. The makers are yet to zero-in the remaining cast but if the reports are to be believed, Rakul might team up with Panja Vaisshnav Tej in the film. It is also being said that director Krish is planning to wrap up shooting the film in a single schedule. The team may come with an announcement soon.

Meanwhile, Rakul Preet Singh has been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) along with Deepika Padukone and Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor in drugs case. The NCB has registered a case under several sections of the NDPS Act on the request of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) after the financial probe agency found several alleged chats of Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik discussing drugs.

Rhea, Showik, Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda, Sushant’s personal staff Dipesh Sawant along with 17 others have been arrested by the NCB in the case till date. A Mumbai court on Tuesday sent Rhea and Showik to judicial custody till October 6. Sushant was found dead in his Bandra flat on June 14. Besides the NCB, the CBI and the ED are also probing the death case of the 34-year-old actor.
