Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Amidst backlash, CBI issues a statement; says, ‘No aspect has been ruled out as of date’

The death of Sushant Singh Rajput has been a huge loss for Bollywood. Though doctors said that he was allegedly suffering from depression, there are some discrepancies in the manner the whole situation has panned out. The CBI came to Mumbai for a couple of weeks. They investigated everyone who was close to Sushant Singh Rajput and tried to find out what exactly led to his death. However, the report from the medical board of AIIMS has been delayed. This has left fans upset. Today CBI issued an official statement into the matter. It read: The Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting a professional investigation related to the death of Shri Sushant Singh Rajput in which all aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as of date. The investigation is continuing.

This is one of the first statements to come from the agency. Top officers like Nupur Prasad, Gagandeep Gambhir and Manoj Shashidhar were appointed to look into the matter. They are hailed as some of the agency’s finest officers. They have interrogated a lot of people. Moreover, they recreated the scene of the crime at the Mont Blanc apartment. There were reports that it is veering towards a case of homicide but no official word as come.

Of course, the biggest crux is the connect between the deaths of Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput. His manager died five days back on the night of June 8, 2020. It seems the demise left his devastated. He kept on telling his close ones that he will be targeted next. Siddharth Pithani has said this to the cops. Even a friend has testified this to the agency, as per reports. The CBI is also looking into the Disha Salian case. Unlike Sushant Singh Rajput, she had no alleged medical history of depression.
