Sushant Singh Rajput case: CBI slams reports of arriving at a ‘conclusion’, terms them ‘speculative and erroneous’

The demise of Sushant Singh Rajput left us shocked and saddened beyond measure. At 34, he died leaving millions of fans bereaved. Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is being investigated by CBI. Yesterday, some reports started surfacing that it has reached a conclusion. The reports said that they had reached a conclusion that there was no foul play involved. The cause of death was being reported as alleged suicide. However, the CBI has now put out an official statement. It says, “CBI continues to investigate the death of Sh. Sushant Singh Rajput. There are certain speculative reports in media that the CBI has reached a conclusion. It may be reiterated that these reports are speculative and erroneous.”

As per Republic, the CBI team visited the residence of Rohan Rai. He is the fiance of late Disha Salian. They wanted to know details of what happened at the party of June 8, 2020. Today, aarti was held on the banks of the river Ganges for the actor. Fans are holding a memorial yatra for three days. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020. The AIIMS report on the post-mortem created quite a stir. They ruled out any foul play.

The family lawyer Vikas Singh said, “If the CBI doesn’t take action, we will go to the court and demand forming a new forensic team. We want a proper medical opinion, this kind of opinion can’t serve justice.” He said that he will ask for a new forensic team to be set up. He said that Dr Sudhir Gupta earlier told him that it was 200 per cent strangulation, and now it has come to suicide. The CBI will be in Mumbai for a week. They are supposed to submit a report soon. We hope justice is given to all concerned parties.
