Morgan scores five times as U.S. rout Thailand 13-0

Defending champions United States got their World Cup campaign off with a stellar show as they went on a rampage against Thailand, defeating them 13-0.

Alex Morgan scored five goals and the Americans scored 10 times in the second half to record the biggest win in Women’s World Cup history, beating the previous best of 11-0 set by Germany against Argentina in 2007.

Insigne, Veratti give Italy 2-1 win over Bosnia in Euro 2020 qualifying

Edin Dzeko opened the scoring for Bosnia, but Italy won the Euro 2020 qualifying game between the two sides 2-1, courtesy of goals from Lorenzo Insigne and Marco Verratti.

With 12 points from four games, Roberto Mancini’s side are now top of Group J and edging closer to a place in Euro 2020.
