‘It’s MAA bad luck to have such president’

Former Movie Artists Association (MAA) President Sivaji Raja has responded on the latest controversy. Yesterday at the MAA Diary Launch, Rajasekhar created ruckus and this has angered Megastar Chiranjeevi. Later Rajasekhar resigned as MAA Executive Vice President.

“Yesterday’s incident was unfortunate and sad that it happened before of industry biggies. People who are responsible for this should introspect themselves,” said Sivaji. About Rajasekhar, Sivaji added that he is an emotional person and he donated Rs 10 Lakh for association but never publicized it.

Criticizing current MAA President Naresh for this whole episode, Sivaji said, “Current MAA President has no knowledge about the funds. In fact he can’t even reveal how much funds he contributed on his own and how many pooled from various sources. Many donors have come forward to contribute to association but they were insulted. It is MAA bad luck to have such a president.”

In the last MAA elections, Sivaji and Naresh were at loggerheads. With mega brother Naga Babu extending support to Naresh and his panel, many voted in their favour. But Sivaji claimed that he did no wrong as MAA President.
