Love Island fans convinced Tommy Fury will dump Lucie when Molly-Mae arrives

Love Island 2019 fans believe that Tommy Fury will dump Lucie Donlan once new girl Molly-Mae arrives in the villa.

The ITV2 dating show teased the arrival of 'bombshell' Molly-Mae Hague and while there a two singletons among the boys, fans think boxer Tommy will be the man who makes the first move.

The 20-year-old social influencer would seem a good fit for Tommy's ideal partner and it could mean that Joe Garrett gets his wish to have another chance to couple up with Cornish surfer Lucie.

Since Tommy broke up their happy coupling and whisked Lucie off on a date, Joe has crumpled under the heat of the sunshine, showing a less palatable possessive side that had him questioning Lucie's loyalty.

Lucie, for her part, had no choice but to go on the date with Tommy and was a bit taken aback by Joe's 'trust issues' as he failed to cope with their enforced split after just over 24 hours together.

In his pursuit of winning Lucie back from Tommy, even after the 22-year-old had told the boxer that she wasn't interested, Joe had gone from happy to desperate in a few short hours.

After speaking to Amy Hart, among others, Lucie decided to not rule out a future with Tommy but fans think that this could be a fool's game for her once Molly-Mae arrives.

Social media was alight with viewers sharing their thoughts on the new arrival and it could be 'goodnight Lucie' before the dust settles on Molly-Mae turning up.

One fan tweeted: "Tommy’s declaring his love for Lucie but just wait until Molly walks in tomorrow – cya later Lucie, love."

While another mused: "Can’t wait for Molly Mae to come in and Tommy to jump ship."

What is for certain, any attempts to chat up Molly-Mae must be more effective than Tommy's attempts to woo Amber Gill, who shut down his advances in such a way that boxer Tommy looked punch drunk and out for the count.

Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
