Love Island viewers convinced ‘missing’ islanders have left villa

Love Island 2019 introduced viewers to 12 new faces this week, but some fans were beginning to question if some of them had already left the villa.

After the first coupling, the girls and boys, including Joe Garratt, Lucie Donlan, Amber Gill and Amy Hart, were left stunned as two bombshells entered the villa.

Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury made their way in, and at the end of Tuesday’s episode there was drama as they stole two girls from the boys they were partnered up with.

But viewers were slightly more concerned about “missing” islanders, noticing a lack of screen time for several of the cast.

The concern came in the first half of the episode, as fans were left questioning where three islanders in particular were.

Callum Macleod, Michael Griffiths and Yewande Biala were all nowhere to be seen, in the fallout to the bombshells arriving.

One fan said on Twitter : “Is Yewande still on the show? Like where they hiding her?”

Another agreed: “Does Yewande exist where is she?”

A third added: “Where has Yewande been this episode?? The lack of air time she’s been getting is just disrespectful.”

Others were worried for Callum and Michael, with one fan commenting: “Where have Michael and Callum been all episode?”

This was echoed by another fan who said: “Sorry, where's Callum?”

As more and more viewers took to Twitter to quiz their whereabouts, genuinely wondering if they’d left the show, they were relieved to see all three of them back in the villa.

This was the least of viewers’ worries though, as Joe and Lucie were later torn apart by Tommy at the very end of the episode.

Love Island 2019 airs all week on ITV2 at 9pm.
