Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal shares his views on nepotism; says, ‘Ye hamari sanskriti hain’

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been one of the longest running shows on television. The team recently celebrated 3000 episodes on the sets. The show has been loved immensely by the fans. It has been doing good on the TRP charts and is loved by the audience. It is the only show that has no haters and since the first episode of the show, it has been appreciated. Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal has been one of the most loved characters. One definitely relates to the daily problems Jethalal faces. Recently, in an interview with Sight and Insight Youtube channel, he spoke about spoke several aspects of life, his inspiration and driving force of acting. He also spoke about the most important topic of Bollywood currently which is nepotism.

He cleared that he never faced any instance in his professional career, so he would be the wrong person to comment on it. He said, “Ye hamari sanskriti hain. Agar koi vyapaari hain, usne apna dhanda jamaaya hai aur uska beta usme shaamil hona chahta hai, toh who definitely usko join karega hi na.” Earlier, in the same interview he Dilip Joshi spoke about Bhavya Gandhi and Raj Anadkat. Dilip Joshi said that he misses Bhavya a lot. He had played Bhavya’s on-screen father for around nine years in the show and they share a good bond. Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal said that every actor of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is unique in itself, so it’s really difficult to choose one between Bhavya Gandhi and Raj Anadkat.

He also shared that he had a long association with Bhavya and the bond he shared with him is irreplaceable. He also spoke about Raj Anadkat and said that he is truly a hard-working and an amazing actor who has gelled up really well with everyone within a short period of time.
