Akshay Kumar has THIS to say as Sooryavanshi averts clash with Salman Khan’s Inshallah | Bollywood Life

Akshay Kumar is currently gearing up for his ensemble cast film Mission Mangal. The actor who has a bucket full of films has Sooryavanshi from Rohit Shetty’s cop-verse lined up as well. The action drama film was supposed to clash with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt-starrer Inshallah on Eid 2020. Inshallah is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s action film which was earlier going to clash with Akshay and Katrina Kaif-starrer. But Rohit advanced the release date of his film and preponed it to March 27, 2020.

During a media interaction, the actor opened up about the same and said, “It is always a good sign that the two movies do not come at the same time. It is good that it (clash) is averted. However, the clash between any two films is likely to happen. We are making 210 Hindi films and we have 52 weeks in a year so we are bound to have two or more films releasing on the same date,”

Talking about Sooryavanshi, Akki will essay the role of a police officer Veer Sooryavanshi in the film. It is also said that Singham aka Ajay Devgn and Sangram Bhalero aka Simma aka Ranveer Singh will make their cameos in this cop-actioner. Apart from Akki, Katrina, Ranveer, and Ajay, the film also stars Anupam Kher, Gulshan Grover, Neena Gupta, Abhimanyu Singh, Vivan Bhatena in key roles. With Sooryavanshi the 51-year-old star with Katrina Kaif after almost a decade. Their last outing together was in 2010’s Tees Maar Khan.

Akshay recently announced his next titled Bachchan Panday which is set to release on Christmas 2020. Though the clash of Sooryavanshi and Inshallah is averted, Bachchan Panday will lock horns Aamir Khan’s remake of Forrest Gump, titled Laal Singh Chaddha and also Luv Ranjan’s next film starring Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor are also coming to theatres on the same day.

“The clash is bound to happen,” Akshay told the media on the same.

Recently, a few images of Dimple Kapadia from the sets of Christopher Nolan’s Tenet went viral. When quizzed the actor as to how he feels about his mother-in-law Dimple Kapadia being a part of acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s film, Akshay said, he is very happy about it. “It is very nice. It is a big film. It is amazing,” the Kesari actor added.
