Akshay Kumar’s heart breaks when his daughter Nitara refuses to step out for family dinner because of paparazzi | Bollywood Life

Paparazzi is here, there and everywhere. Time and again, Bollywood celebrities have expressed their concern over paparazzi culture taking a toll on their children. However, there has been no avail. The pressure of constantly being surrounded by the shutterbugs has more cons than pros. Kids especially get affected the most. Despite celebs schooling paparazzi to avoid flashing, they refuse to budge and go on doing the same. Like Saif Ali Khan issued a concern in the past, now Akshay Kumar has opened up about the negative impact of paparazzi’s continues flashes on his kids- Aarav and Nitara.

The actor, who is extremely protective of his kids, admitted that it breaks his heart when his six-year-old daughter Nitara refuses to step out of the house for family dinners, as she fears the flashing lights.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, the actor said, “It breaks my heart to hear my six-year-old daughter say she doesn’t want to come out to dinner with her family because the paparazzi will be there and she doesn’t like the flashing lights. Or Aarav not wanting to come for a movie because he just finished training and he doesn’t want to have to deal with people saying he looks tired or sweaty on Instagram and I really don’t blame them.”

Akshay accepted that as an actor he has signed up for all of this, but his kids’ privacy needs to be respected. “Us as stars may have signed up for this but until our kids decide to be in any form of the limelight after college years, then I don’t think they should be publicly followed or scrutinized, out of safety for them physically and mentally. Again, that’s my opinion and like I teach my kids, it’s your choice whether or not you choose to be offended by what others say,” said the actor.

And it is high that the paparazzi draw a line when it comes to clicking star kids. What do you feel? Share your thoughts by tweeting to us @bollywood_life. For more scoops and updates, keep following this space!
