TV presenter Beverley Turner, 47, has claimed that her ex-husband James Cracknell, 49, is marrying financier Jordan Connell, 35, this evening. The radio host took to Instagram to film a short video, where she told how she had to come to terms with her Olympian ex-husband remarrying, as she soaked up the sun during a staycation with her boyfriend, James Pritchett.

Taking to Twitter, Bev wished her ex congratulations on his big day in view of her 64,500 followers.

She wrote: “Huge congratulations from us both to @jamescracknell who gets married today to a wonderful woman who makes him happy.

“Marriage, brain injury and divorce was never Plan A,” she admitted.

“But to anyone currently in the dark, the sun WILL come out again one day,” she finished the post.

Express.co.uk has contacted James’ rep for comment.

Bev accompanied the well-wishes with snaps of herself and her new beau sunning themselves in Cornwall.

However, she didn’t stop there, as she took to Instagram to film a short clip of herself addressing her 17-year marriage with the former rower on his big day

Filming herself in a swimsuit, Bev wore a straw hat over her wavy locks, which she paired with minimal make-up for the beach.

Accessorising with a single necklace, the star spoke frankly about her marriage to the Olympian.

In 2019, Bev and James released a statement confirming their decision to split after a nine year struggle following the sportsman’s brain injury.

James was hit by a lorry’s wing mirror during a cycle ride across the USA, leaving him with life-changing injuries including epilepsy, changes to his speech, and a short temper.

Speaking to her followers, Bev said: “It’s a strange day today, my ex-husband got married today which is quite a strange thing to say and I thought I was going to be totally ok with it

“And I am ok with it,” she rushed to assure fans.

Bev continued: “I’m happier now than I have been for many years and I know James is happier now than he has been for many years and a big part of that is Jordan – his new wife.

“But it also made me quite pensive and I couldn’t quite work out why,” she mused.

She went on to address her podcast with Marina Fogle in which she says she looks back on her relationship with the sportsman.

“I talk about the brain injury and the accident James went through when he got hit by a truck in 2010 when he was working for the Discovery Channel,” she said.

Bev explained: “You never get married thinking you’re going to get divorced and although the kids are great and I have a new partner who is amazing with them and in many ways they’re lively, resilient, happy children, you’d never have divorced parents as something you’re totally fine with.”

Addressing the impact of her ex-husband’s brain injury, she said: “Even when you’re in the darkest bits of that journey you do see the sun again and although the impact never really leaves a family,” she said before the clip cut off.

James confirmed his engagement to Jordan in January this year, almost two years after his split from Bev.

Bev and James share three children together – Croyde, Trixie and Kiki.
