Chris Cornell’s Daughter Shares Cover Of Temple Of The Dog’s ‘Hunger Strike’

Chris Cornell‘s daughter Toni Cornell recently shared her cover of the Temple of the Dog hit song “Hunger Strike” on its 30th anniversary.

“Hunger Strike,” the rock band’s most successful song, was written by vocalist Chris Cornell in 1991.

Toni shared a video on Instagram of herself playing the song in a recording studio for the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund in April last year.

The video was accompanied by a touching tribute to her late father: “‘Hunger Strike’ was released 30 years ago today. It’s not only one of the most iconic songs of all time but one of my personal favorites. I recorded it for Music Lives to raise money for Covid relief in April 2020 and in tribute to my dad who would have been the first to do everything he could to help.”

“I love you daddy and I’m so proud of what you created, who you are and everything you believed in. This song represents all of that to me,” the 16-year-old singer added.
