Elvis Presley’s Graceland Tagged With Black Lives Matter Graffiti

Elvis Presley‘s former home in Memphis, Graceland mansion was vandalized by unknown people who spray-painted the compound walls with messages supporting Black Lives Matter and defunding the police.

The tags featured references to Breonna Taylor and the slogans “BLM,” “No Justice, No Peace,” “Abolish ICE,” “Defund MPD” and “F–k Trump,” reports said.

Elvis fans’ tributes to their hero on the walls of the popular tourist attraction were over written by the graffiti.

The late rock legend lived in Graceland mansion for two decades until his death at the age of 42 in 1977.

Tennessee State Representative London Lamar wrote on Twitter that the graffiti was not the work of Black Lives Matter activists.

“I bet my money that those tagging property in Memphis with BLM and Defund Police are individuals trying to make this movement look bad!” said the Democratic lawmaker.

She added, “”Don’t believe that it’s the movement! It’s not! WE ALL KNOW WHO’S OUT TO MAKE US LOOK BAD.”
